I’m a freelance writer, producer, and editor with a passion for historical storytelling. I have more than 20 years of experience producing award-winning content for educational partners, museums and non-profit institutions, television networks, and digital platforms.

Most recently I’ve created content strategies and produced educational films and interactive media installations for the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration and provided archival research for the new Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. I managed the content development of educator toolkits, videos, podcasts, and interpretative materials for the National World War I Memorial in Washington, D.C., and worked with Scholastic to create educational guides that have reached more than 200,000 classrooms.

I’ve also written hundreds of articles for clients including History.com and Bio.com covering history, politics, entertainment, and pop culture, and created educational curriculum for grades K-12, including study guides, lesson plans, digital assessments, infographics, and more on a variety of historical subjects. Additional projects include research and fact-checking for long-form tv series including History’s Greatest Mysteries, The Toys that Built America, and the HISTORY This Week podcast.

During my time as a producer at The HISTORY Channel, I was a Webby Award Winner for the HISTORY Here location-based app and Webby Award nominee for The Obama Years: An Oral History. I also created the Civil War 150 interactive website, which was selected by the Library of Congress for inclusion in its permanent collection, and helped produce videos for the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, George Washington’s Mt. Vernon, Gilder Lehrman Institute and others.

With a deep-rooted passion for storytelling, a wealth of experience across multiple platforms, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results, I am dedicated to bringing history to life through engaging and informative content.
